In the video recorded at the Zaman Park, Imran Khan stated, “By the time this interview reaches you, I will be arrested, and I might not get a chance to speak to you later.” He further added, “The Pakistani nation has known me for the last fifty years. I have never violated Pakistan’s constitution and laws. On one hand, the law gives us our rights, and on the other hand, I have always protested within the constitutional boundaries.”

The PTI Chairman’s arrest has come as a surprise to many, given his recent political rallies, where he has been critical of the current government’s handling of the economy and corruption. In his previous speeches, Imran Khan accused the ruling party of stifling the movement for true freedom and pressurizing him to surrender to the corrupt elements in the government.

Imran Khan’s arrest has sparked protests across Pakistan, with his supporters taking to the streets to demand his release. PTI’s senior leadership has condemned the arrest, calling it a blatant violation of the democratic principles enshrined in Pakistan’s constitution.

Political analysts believe that Imran Khan’s arrest may lead to a fresh wave of protests in the country, given his popularity among the masses. The situation remains tense as the PTI leadership decides on its course of action.
