How does Apple PassKey Works?

This is a standard for authenticating users to websites and apps that employs public-key cryptography rather than passwords. These are saved locally rather than on a web server. It also functions as a password substitute, with biometric identification using Touch ID and otherwise Face ID. Instead of inputting a lengthy password, you’ll be prompted to verify using Touch ID or Face ID.

When will Apple Passkeys be ready for use?
